Remarks

A memorable month. Very cold, very wet and very dull. It was the second coldest March in my 10-year record (March 2013 is the coldest). The mean temp for the month was 0.7° lower than the mean temp for Jan 2018. By a considerable margin it was the wettest March that I have recorded. The previous wettest was March 2016 with 122.1 mm. The number of rain days and wet days were the highest that I have recorded in March. Also by a considerable margin, it was the least sunny March that I have recorded. The previous lowest was March 2013 with 57.5 hours. It was the 2nd snowiest March (after March 2013) that I have recorded.
